Haunted

Kilt Hose Ghost... Ghoset?
I keep thinking about the damned things. I nearly ordered yarn yesterday. Last night, my mother brought me to my senses. The Kilt Hose will be made, but not for the wedding. Just for fun. And I might make them for me... or I might give them to my cousin who actually has a kilt. We'll see. Anyway, his feet aren't really much bigger than mine, so it probably wouldn't make a difference for the size.
I'm also being haunted by an idea I have for a sweater, but I'm trying to be strong. I've decided that I am not allowed to start this new thing until either a) I have finished the sweater that I bought all of the dandy for OR b) I have finished the Laura for my friend's son and written it up and written up the Lise booties. You all are allowed to kick my ass if I do otherwise. I'd better get my butt in gear.

You should definitely knit them for yourself. I thought they looked cute when you posted a photo of yourself wearing them. Being Scottish I suppose I should be knitting myself a pair. Have you seen this pattern?

For some reason, this post is making me think of Hamlet . . .

Well I'm glad you came to a decision about the kilt hose. It was a toughy! But I think you made a wise decision.
Two questions about kicking your arse if you do otherwise, does that mean I get to finally go to France, and can I take a detour to Chartres Cathedral?

I think I just snorted water out my nose! The image of kilt hose ghost just cracked me up! You'll make them but be strong and remember it is just for fun...no pressure!

In the land of the small person, socks say all sorts of things...in the land of the knitter, this does not stop at age 6 :-) In fact, we are making up a song about it right now...
When it's dark outside
You should close your eyes
or you will see the scary ghost
of Kate's unfinished kilt hose...
Forgive us. We have been working too hard and our poetic skills are a bit impaired...
bisoux et bonne chance avec le nouveau pull :-) (because I know you're gonna draw it at the very least, and I'm wondering if it will also have a cute face and a little ghost mantra. Watch out, we might make you another song...)

It's 6:30 a.m. and I've already read Mason Dixon Kay's rendition of a knitted Barbara Streisand song, and now THIS! It's gonna be a great day. Thank you for the silliest sock drawing ever. xox
