Good things come in pairs

I got tagged by two people for the music thing and yesterday I got packages from two people!

On the left are all of my sweets from Louby Lou's contest and on the right is a lovely gift from Alison. And look what's in the package.

Silk for spinning! I am so not worthy of this lovely a fiber. I'm going to have to practise a lot and consult with the spinning gurus I know before using it so I don't just ruin it. And there was also some yummy smelling tea and a cute magnet which is already hanging on my magnetic chalk board.

Thanks ladies!

Are you in Paris? I think so from what I've read. I will be there next week. Do you know of any yarn shops other than Anny Blatt?

I enjoyed reading your posts. Hope you will answer soon.

De-lurking to say that silk is beautiful stuff. Wouldn't you know it's the *exact* colors I wish I could find to knit myself a clapotis? I can't wait to see what you eventually make with it.

Whoa baby...I don't know anything about spinning, but that silk looks intimidating! Luckily, you'll be on a sugar high to help you through it! Hope you're doing well, Kate!

The silk looks awesome! Besides the fact that it's silk, the colors make that roving awesome! I'm so jealous :)

I am happy to hear that you are feeling better now. Your fiber pile is making really want to play with the drop spindle MJ gave me for Christmas. And just in to increase your chances of winning stuff, I am having a contest on my blog where you can win a nice prize. (Just in case you want to try to win something aain.)

Wow! That fiber looks yummy! Those colors are so rich. Enjoy it.

(greedy covetous salivating rant deleted)
Wow. Well, I tell you, Kate, I bought some pretty intimidating fiber during the first six months of my new spinning spree, and I am, a year later, indeed worthy of it. I was worthy of it at three months. So once you move yourself and the household to North America, we'll get you going with a real wheel, and soon, very soon, you will be worthy of that magnificence too. Hold on to it, and plan.
