Gotta love little kids

crumpled up hat to go with the sweater which just needs buttons and a hem
I went to knitting group tonight, sat down, cast on and was working the last decreases on the way home. Woot! I love that little kids have little heads. Now I just have to wash it. It smells a little smoky from the place we meet, plus one of the long ends was kind of wet when I was weaving it in... I'm afraid someone spit on the bus and the yarn dragged in it. I don't know that's what it was, but with all the puddles I see all over the city, it was either that or le pipi. Yuck.

Ohmigawd. Not only do you manage to knit constructively whilst attending a gossipy (I assume- aren't they all?) knitting meet, but you are able to produce perfectly even fair isle, and maintain perfectly even decreases without frogging anything?!!! I am in awe...

Fantastic, Kate! I love the hat, and your funny sense of humor. Can't wait to see the pair (hat and sweater) together. I think this pattern is great for a boy or a girl. :) Happy knitting.

Spit or pipi? Now I remember why I left Paris... (joke) Love the hat. Reading you always. Bisou.

Oh! How do you make those little red hearts? The hat is adorable!

cute hat, and though the puddles are questionable, go with spit. who wants to think it could be the other?

I love it!
I actually need to start making more hats. Or anything I can make that doesn't require seaming. Seaming is where I totally lack all self-discipline. Arg.

Those "puddles" what ever they are composed of, are really nasty. It's such a beautiful city, do bad about all these street hazards. Cute hat!

Cute hat! And Kate, the Yarn Harlot is knitting your Clapotis now. Everyone is making it! You're famous. ;-)

Oh, the hat is so precious!! I hadn't realized the reddish color looks like little hearts. I might have to make that one next! :)

I am a real juvenile at heart. I know I should be disgusted but I'm still laughing at le pipi... Hope it all comes out in the wash!

I always wonder about those puddles, too, whenever I'm pushing the stroller. By the way, the hat looks terrific!
