Mountains of FOs
Are you ready to see my tons of FOs? Me too. They're non-existant. I had meant to start a sweater but it didn't work out and now I need to reexamine my yarn selection. I had meant to start a new hat design but that didn't happen either. I had meant to make some Lise booties... nope. Here is what I did do:

That hat is too cute. I totally covet Axelle's yarn - I'd order some if I could decide which colorway I like the best. (I wore my clapotis to work yesterday, and I get compliments every time. It's a great design, and I'm sure you must be pleased that so many people have enjoyed making and wearing them.)

No longer temporarily bland, but permanently pretty - the wait is over hooray! I am so jealous you got to meet Axelle. Personally I could just look at her yarns and stroke them all day rather than knitting with them. Whatever you do will be fabulous.

Nice blog design, especially the logo, Kate. Axelle's yarn is so deliviously pretty. I know another sweater may be boring, but how about using both variegated and solid colors for something interesting?

Needles on Fire is HOT!! She looks great with her new makeover. And I love the shining star hat in that pretty blue. I'd want to knit one today, but I'm already up to my eyeballs in projects inspired by you - the wedding stole is about one third complete, and I've shameless cast on for a Clapotis as well...

I've been a long-time lurker and admirer, and I just wanted to say that I love the new firey theme for your blog. Also, seeing the shining star hat like that on an actual head made me realize that I like the pattern a lot!

Love the new blog design. As for the cashmere - socks are all well and good, but what will you do with the rest? Why not make the sweater first, then the socks if you've enough to spare (cashmere toes and heels probably aren't a great idea, anyway).

glad you're back! great new design -- you really have been busy. all of that lovely lovely yarn is so good to look at! i'm with anne-caroline on the laura colours. i'm always one for hats, but cashmere socks do sound luxurious. what yarn did you use for that shining star?

Love the site redesign. And I think cashmere socks are a fabulous idea! Axelle suggested it to me, and I'm going to jump right in...as soon as I can decide on one of her colorways, that is!
