short post. short hair.

A sleeve. Finally!

I had to rip this because I cast on for the smallest size and followed the row directions for a bigger size. duhhhhh I've redone it now. It just took me a lot longer the second time around.

Did I get my hair cut? I got them all cut. (for Dad) And no, I don't really have white spots on my face and a blurry eye. That would be toothpaste on my mirror. Forgive me.

Wow. The haircut looks great on you... just in time for the warmer weather!

Hi Kate! Nice sleeve - I think you have great color taste. You look so adult with you haircut - I like it! Not everyone can pull off short hair, ya know? Hope things are going well! Check out my site, if you'd like to see (yet another!) Clapotis!

Love the haircut, I think it works with your facial shape and bone structure. I used to have inch-long hair and it was sooooooooo easy to take care of!

Posted by: MJ at April 5, 2005 01:24 AM

LOVE the haircut. Gorgeous.

Posted by: Valentina at April 3, 2005 03:06 PM

You look fabulous- despite the toothpaste.
I'm currently conteplating a similar cut- My hair was about that short for about 10 years until 5 years ago... But, like Jenny above, the man in my life has expressed opposition to the idea, and I need to do a bit of work on him before I have a date with the scissors.

I love your hair cut and not just because I 've got the same ;o)

Posted by: karen at April 2, 2005 08:30 PM

THAT haircut looks FABULOUS on you!!

Posted by: Lara at April 2, 2005 06:07 AM

Oh, geesh, my father-in-law and my husband use that old "I got them all cut" line. I groan every time. I love that hair. Mine used to be like that and I thought it looked great, but people around me didn't like it as much as I did. It suits you so beautifully! Isn't it wonderful to be able to shower and use the teensiest drop of shampoo, and to be able to air dry it or blow dry it in seconds?! Ahhh, bliss!

That's it! I've been growing mine out but I need to chop it off again! But the hubbie will kill me, what to do????

If I didn't say it before the new site design is so cute. I particulary love the needles as logs on the campfire logo bit.

Great haircut Kate.

My Clapotis is rocking along now :)

Wow, you look like Molly Ringwald. In a very good way. I love your knitting and purchased a couple of your patterns that I can't wait to try out.

i used to have a haircut like that and i loved it!

Posted by: maryse at April 1, 2005 07:23 PM

Super cute hair! I had a cut similar when I was a girl, and rather than it looking gamine and adorable (like yours), I looked like ... my brother. Love the sweater, too :)

Posted by: julia fc at April 1, 2005 03:09 PM

Your short hair looks great! My Grampy always says that about hair too.

Posted by: molly at April 1, 2005 03:02 PM

Women like you with legs up to their ears can get away with such fun haircuts...

I used to do the Jean Seberg thing too. But I'm five feet tall. I looked like a little elf. It wasn't the gamine-heart-winning-lookatthosecheekbones effect I was going for...You, on the other hand, look elegant. Positively gorgeous. Clean your mirror--you'll see :-)

My dad always asks if I got them all cut too ;-)

Your hair is so cute! And I can't wait to see what the sleeve will be attached to.

Posted by: monica at April 1, 2005 02:39 PM

Your hair looks great! I must be backwards as I always have my hair short, but recently decided to let it grow out. Seems like everyone else is getting really cute short haircuts. Hmmm...I might need to rethink my decision!

Posted by: Niki at April 1, 2005 02:32 PM

What an adorable and chic haircut! You make me long for shorter hair again.

Posted by: Gina at April 1, 2005 02:30 PM

Hey stranger! The 'do is very cute, as is the sleeve. I'm digging the new site design as well - the flaming needles logo is awesome. xox
