I'm still here

First of all, thanks for being nice to me when I was whiny. I'm over it now. I'm on the verge of hitting the second trimester. I've traded being tired all of the time for being hungry all the time. I feel pretty darned good!

Now on to knitting, even if it's not mine... check out what I got in the mail today!

I think that I had never ever received a handknit from someone. A good family friend knit these for me Frog and me Tadpole. She never uses patterns. When she hears about a baby, she goes to the store and finds a sweater she likes, brings it home, figures out how to make it, whips it out in no time and then returns the sweater. She makes booties like these in two shakes of a lamb's tail. I was really happy to get something that someone else had knit!

Now that I'm back in the world of of the living, I'll hopefully post (and knit) more often.

Glad that you are feeling better. Don't go crazy regarding the eating part --- I gained 50 lbs. pounds with Caroline, gained 25 lbs. with John and I finally got all the weight off this year (almost 3 years to do it).

Go crazy with the knitting because once you have one kid, it's hard to find the time.

What a thoughtful and cute gift! I just love white knits for a baby, yet not practical, so cute to see anyway. ;)
