Halloween crafts for lazy knitters
How to make a yarn pumpkin:
1. Buy a ball of orange yarn.
2. Roll up its tag to look like a stem.
3. Set out several to spread the Halloween spirit. Tada!

I LOVE it! Cute and doesn't take time from the important crafting...knitting !

Oh good, you can still move.
That's just about right. You'll be a fine mommy.
(ignore the halloween thing, it's an annual anomoly. mostly it's playdoh balls and crayons around here.

Brilliant -- now that's my kind of (non)crafting!

Très mignon!

That's funny...you silly girl. Can you make a decoration that easy for Christmas?

Nice, Kate! Nice.

Clever, clever... and instead of storing the decorations for next year, you could knit something out of it. Nah, on second thought, you could just toss it back into the stash.

I love that idea!

Wow! I'm going to have to keep that in mind for next year. :)

Looks yummier than the real thing! And hey -- hope you're doing well, that is, you, the Frog and the little bump!

Cute!
Or you could be like me: Be the Halloween Grinch and forget about all of it!
Posted by: Norma at October 31, 2005 08:05 PM
Brilliant. Faster than knitting one, too.
Hope you're doing great!
Posted by: valentina at October 31, 2005 07:45 PM
Much faster than knitted pumpkins! I'll have to try it.
Posted by: Brynne at October 31, 2005 07:35 PM
Ingenious! Very cute, and much more tidy than all of those pumpkin "guts."

That's "advanced pregnancy decorating". A bit of that around here too, but gosh, how in the world is it that you make something like that turn out so darn cute? Hope you're feeling well in the last stretch here.

Now that's MY kind of decoration!!!

Super cute! Great color too.
So, I'm hoping that something will be arriving at your door some day soon from me. Let me know if it gets there.
