The only thing missing is me and my exposed breasts
I know my drawing was phootorealistic and all, but here's a picture anyway:

and what I see:

yes, macs do indeed RULE!

Yeah for knitnursing! I also recomend Circ's! Your little one is darling!

One suggestion about knitnursing: Short needles - circs preferred. The longer ones were a huge distraction and once my youngest liked to reach and grab while nursing... You can imagine the results.

Oh I love little babies! What a fun! They smell so wonderful!
I would want to knit like crazy for tadpole. Flashback...Terror comes to me right away when 19 years ago I left at go warm a bottle and I left my new born on the sofa like tad is with a pillow to block him from falling. I heard a thud and whaaaaaaaa. He somehow wiggled like "a tadpole" off onto the hardwood floor. I felt horrible, he was so little and was wrapped up like a burrito how could this happen? He was fine but as you can tell I wasn't. Happy Holidays to you and yours.

What a lovely, comfy spot, and what an adorable companion to have with you. :-) Your drawing was remarkably accurate.

I'm in support of demystifying pubic breast feeding, but I suppose that doing so on a blog is just a bit too public. Tadpole is so sweet.

LOL about your title.

The baby totally makes the picture! She is all scrunched up! How cute is she!!!!!

Keep up the resting and thanks for welcoming us for a peek.

So much more room than before and with a beauuuutiiiiifuuuullllll munchkin there! That is wonderful set-up there - kinda like the previous post - the artsy representation. Happy for you and the family. Waiting to get the current IK to see your good work.

If you can make detailed blog entries at this stage in mothering you're doing great. The only reason I knew where my breasts were was because the baby was on them.
Looks like a nice set up. The laptop near the nursing pillow is a smart move. Don't forget to nap with Tadpole too.

Aw...... the tadpole is adorable! I hope you're able to get some sleep soon!

Ah, the early days of nursing! I love it when babies are so little they'll stay where you put them. Happy nursing and napping and knitting!

wow what a great room! and little tadpole there looks so cute all curled up. they're so poseable at that age. ha.

tadpole is sweetness itself, macs definitely rule, and your place is so neat and organized!

I love your knitting corner and tadpole is soooo cute!!!! My baby boy is already 1 year-old but still breast-feeded... and so my breasts are often exposed, too! ;-)

Ton bébé est adorable !

I just love that you included tadpole in the picture. She's such a cutie-pie!!! (So little! I love it when they're that little!) And I'm amazed at how close the real photo is to your photo-realistic drawing -- you artist, you! ;-)

Aw, doesn't Tadpole look particularly adorable, all scrunched up on the couch! Sweet!
(Says she, typing quietly on her non-Mac....)

I love the Christmas TREE!
Tadpole looks all squissy on the couch. Makes you just want to hug on her!
PS Thanks for leaving out the exposed breasts -- that would be a might too realistic :)

i know just what you mean about the exposed breasts, i think everyone has seen mine! tadpole looks so tiny on that huge sofa.
I hope you're getting plenty of sleep.

tadpole is very cute!! =D
Posted by: ruth at December 19, 2005 05:19 PM
Oooh, a baby (squeal)! I have a similar corner, but the work stuff is banished far out of sight. (And it has no baby, hence the squealing about others'...)

Macs do indeed rule. As do tadpoles. And snacks.

I love it!

just like in the drawing! except you added bébé in the pic - smart move. love it! looks a tiny bit more spacious than your paris flat ;-)

Utterly delightful pictures! Looks like a loving, stylish and cared for home. I'm sure your little family will thrive in that atmosphere. Tadpole is so cute.
