Lucky girl

A cashmere sweater from Axelle and bonnet and booties from Kristine. It's hard to get a good picture of a super squirmy baby. How lucky she is to have such fancy clothes! Go order yarn from Axelle right now. It's even surviving spit up.

Here's a better shot of the booties.

And the bonnet.

This is also from Kris and it came with a red onesie that must be in the wash right now. We love red!

(blogless) Nancy was in Paris in June and spoiled me with Rice Krispies, organic cotton yarn, this onesie she embroidered and the soft blanket shown below.

More photos of cyber shower (and non-cyber shower) thoughtful baby presents soon.

I love that first pic. She looks like she's about to take off!

not only is she lucky but she is ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE... am so disappointed that she is not here in Paris to spoil!

She does have a serious little face, and that look in the second picture is very penetrating. She must be an old soul, I'm sure she'll be a a very wise girl. Now, how can I get people to make lovely handknit gifts like that for me?

Oh, Kate! The tadpole is so adorable. And what a lucky girl, indeed. And she looks so much like you!!

Adorable knitwear, even more adorable model. I especially love the last picture, where she's knitting her brows.

The baby is cuter than any of the gifts! She looks like you!

She is beautiful! I love her facial expression, like she is thinking SO hard about how to...learn to knit at an early age, perhaps!
Posted by: Mia at February 1, 2006 07:08 AM
Oooooh, she's getting cuter by the day and looks JUST LIKE YOU!!

She is a stunner - such determination, and already a person face rather than a baby face.

She has such a personality doesn't she? Absolutely adorable. The knitted gifties are really cute too. She's a very lucky little one.

Such a spoiled baby! It's wonderful. I adore that bonnet.

Ooohhh, qu'elle est mignonne!

Aren't all Tadpoles wiggly? heh So precious. so sweet. So pretty. And so are the knits. Just delicious knits!! Love that blanket! And I'm making that sweater - just not from Ax's cashmere. *sigh* Oh well. :)

I know, you've heard it a million times, but she is beautiful, and looks just like you. I love that she squirms!
Have her wear the knitted items now, when you can make sure she wears them. My girl will only wear her Princess nightgowns, that's it. (But she will wear a handknitted poncho....Oy.)

She is so adorable! The determination in her face is simply amazing.

Wow, everything is so beautiful and your girl looks just as lovely as can be. I'm a bit jealous, though, I've never had a cashmere sweater before. Oh la la

Amazing knitted gifts for such a cutie! The violet colors are delightful.

I love the adaptation of Shining Star--very clever! And the tadpole does have an adorably serious face.
Posted by: Becca at January 31, 2006 06:51 PM
I've said it before but I'll say it again. You have a beautiful, beautiful baby girl!
Posted by: Carole at January 31, 2006 06:14 PM
I love that action shot! And the serious look on her face makes it even better!
Posted by: janna at January 31, 2006 06:04 PM
My, such a serious girl! (And she looks just like her momma. Not that I've seen you frown. I mean the lips, etc.)
Posted by: cari at January 31, 2006 05:58 PM
Such cute stuff! It's really nice to be spoiled, isn't it? No less than a lovely little tadpole deserves.
