I'm determined to finally show you all of the cyber shower presents and I was hoping to show you a lovely baby smile while I was at it. Tadpole is not as serious as you might think from yesterday's photos. But she is determined too. Determined not to be a model and determined to spend all of today in my arms.

Isn't it great how somehow things go together? And contrary to what her face was saying today she (and I) loves having so many things that were made so carefully and sweetly for her.

She's getting big so fast. As the mother of one of those things who is now 18 (but really...she was that little just last week!...I swear it was last week) I should be fully aware of how fast the time goes but it always catches me by surprise.

She's gorgeous and she sure has a nice wardrobe!

That's so cool that gifts matched up like that! (And I can't believe what a lovely blanket Blossom made. I swear she just learned to knit five minutes ago. She's a natural.)

Even upset, she's so CUTE. Do those items really match as well as they seem to? If so that's pretty impressive.

Oh, that last face. SO sad but so sweet. As difficult as those "hold me and nurse me forever" days are, I now totally miss them.
