Enough of this crap
It's late. Everyone's in bed, but me. I'm sitting here wondering why I can smell beer (I didn't drink any), trying to catch up on my knitting (I'm now *coughsevencoughmaybeeightcough* days behind) and struggling to catch up on my emails (a battle I'll never win). So here's the skinny:
The contest is over. Winners? Uh, yeah. That's also on my to do list. I'll get to it ASAP and email them.
The very charming Jeanne, who ran the Pearl Buck Swing Jacket knit along, published an interview with me here if you just can't get enough of my babbling.
Uh... Let's see what else has been going on... Tadpole is already 6 months old and I can't believe it. Her sweater's still not done and the hot weather is here. I'm sure there was something else I was meaning to talk about or a photo I wanted to show you but I sure as hell can't remember what it was so when I figure it out, or think of some new drivel, I'll be back with a brand new post, hopefully some time before the end of June. Keep cool.

Great interview. I like the jacket pattern. Maybe something for me to look forward to for the fall.

Haaaaaa. I didn't think you'd keep the organ meats in there. You so funny.

And now you have to add a giant teddy bear or elephant or something to your knitting list, so it can wear Tadpole's beautiful sweater.

It only gets easier. Really. Slow in coming though, ain't it?

you think you're up late...
i was at the overpriced lys this afternoon for their annual "sale" and talked the owner into making your maternity sweater for her preggo daughter-in-law. she couldn't think of what to knit her and so i busted out the IK and showed off your goodies! "ooooooh, perfect!" she said. now if she had only given me a better discount...
hang in there, mama!

oh kate....
it is so hard at 6 mos.... you are constantly trying to play catch up and balancing life and mommydom.
Breathe.... get some sleep. It really makes things better!
