The cheese fries ate my brain

I have about a thousand things to post about but I can't seem to get my act together these days. First of all, Julia is here not nowhere, as I indicated in my last post. And she summed up my visit with her here, while I only managed a couple of sentences and failed to mention Alison, who I admire greatly and was very happy to meet, regardless of my not mentioning it immediately. I blame it on the cheese fries I ate with Kelle and Maryse. I could only remember cheese fries. Anyway, while I was visiting Julia, we were talking music and it turns out that we both have the album "Le fil" by Camille, but Julia had no idea that the video featured knitting prominently, which besides the song being good, is why I bought the album. So while you're waiting for me to get my act together and post something coherent, enjoy this.

Pressing the ESC key after typing in a character or part of a word while in iChat, Mail, TextEdit, etc. will reveal a drop down menu. This menu contains all the words your computer knows that begin with that combination of letters! Pretty neat, and a great time saver!!

What a cool video! I always knew the yarn was really alive and in control. That explains the mystery of how gauge changes mid-project.

Excellent video, thanks for sharing. I love the concept, and I really love the sweater too--inspiring . . .

Thanks for sharing the video (and music)- great work- I can relate to the frustrations of the creative process that it seems to convey- where it seems to have a mind of it's own and takes over your world, with no escape. Wish I could knit that quickly though- there's a heck of alot of knitting in it! Have no idea what the song means either...
I also knit another one of your bunnies this week, for a friend's baby. Such a fabulous pattern!

Brilliant video- thanks for sharing.
I know at times I've felt like that about the whole creative process- it's got a mind of it's own, and it's not doing what you want it to- it resists, and takes over... (well, that's the vibe I get from the imagery- I have no idea what the words mean!)
I've also just sent off another one of your bunnies to a friend. I do love that pattern!

Hey, obviously I did not get that until I just watched the clip. Damn me for trying to do two things at once.

Hey Kate - that photo is nasty - what is that string of saliva in the back of your throat. I will check out your link, but only because I won't judge you for your dental hygiene. :) Miss you and want to hear what you and bebe are up to. A-C

Wow, that's a heck of a lot of knitting!

Cheese fries?

Are you sure it wasn't poutine that you ate?

hee hee.

That was great! I'm glad I watched the video, or I would have continued to think that was you in the photo, and that you had indeed lost your mind. :)

What a fun clip! thanks for that. Did you and Tadpole have a great trip? Pictures, please. Tomorrow is Hannah's first day of kindergarten! Yikes.

Hysterical. I think she may have some knitting "issues". I would love to know what the lyrics mean.
