A new store and my dorkiness - in photos

This is Ginette (laughing).

This is Ginette's store, Éffiloché and this is the list of classses I'm giving there. More are being added all the time and someone please sign up so I'm not sitting by myself weeping softly into the fleece artist roving instead of sharing my love of knitting with people who love knitting too.

This is the first row that Lee Ann's daughter, Twinkletoes, knit.

And here are photos Lee Ann took of me acting like a total dork. What do you think of the project? Holiday sweaters are HOTT this year, didn't you know? Pumpkins are in! Just ask Tim Gunn. He's with me on this.

Or maybe felted jack o' lantern trick or treating bags are cooler than sweaters.

Or maybe they're still dorky... but cute anyway. For those who are still young enough to trick or treat, at least.

Hmmm... Now that I see this photo that Lee Ann just sent me, I'm thinking holiday sweaters might be hot after all... or maybe it's just me.

Kate! Gah what fun y'all had together! I'm so happy to see the pictures of you - so stinkin' CUTE! And Lee Ann looks so fabulous! Love Twink's darling little row of knitting. heh Having your Mommy teach you to knit is about as fun as having her for your piano teacher - mine tried BOTH plus crochet. Blech.
FUNNEST bag in the world - and tricot for debutantes. hehe Knitting for .... I don't know French but it sounds like "Knitting for young preppy sexpots in boarding school!" hehe Best wishes for overwhelming interest in the classes you're offering and for great success to the store! Will they have online sales too?

Thanks for making me laugh this morning. Good luck with the classes. I'm about to retire from teaching what with the second baby and a desire for some free time on weekends before I'm constantly attached to a hungry newborn again.

I really like the term "tricot coach". Sounds great, something like "knitting can change your life". Good luck with the classes! And the pumpkin bag is great, I would have also been playing with it a lot if I had been there.

Awesome. The last photo is definitely my favorite. It's perfect! Isn't Halloween great? Honestly, I would have been just as happy with that jack o lantern as a sweater. It was hysterical!

Aiiiieieeeeeee! I was in Paris for five whole days in July and didn't have any idea how or where to find yarn stores! I understand a tiny bit of French, but I couldn't get across the concept of knitting, so I didn't have any luck.
I'm bookmarking your blog; I might contact you before we go to Europe again!

When I saved the camera photo you sent me, I called it StupidFuckingCamera.jpg
I so need a new camera. The fashion-show button on yours is way cool. And thanks for teaching T...it works so much better when mum is not the teacher...She has, however, "not decided what to call my knitting piece."
Artists. They're so goddamned finicky.
