Because it's still Socktober for 15 minutes
I taught a sock class recently and worked up a generic top-down sock worksheet for my class. And in the spirit of Socktober I'm sharing it. You can go here to download it. It is a work in progress, so go ahead and tell me if there are things that are missing or messed up. I was going to put a photo or a diagram in there, I just haven't had time. Happy Halloween and happy sock knitting.

Yay Kate!! THIS is the kind of thing I needed as a new sock knitter. It would have saved me months of aggrivation and frustration thinking I would never figure out how to pick the right needle size, sock weight, and number of cast on stitches. How generous of you to make it available to everyone! :)

WoW! I don't know what to be happier about: the worksheet or the kitchner instructions that helped me find out that I'd learned kitchner with a slight hiccup that was making my grafts pointy. The instructions ironed out the hiccup and no more pointy ears on my grafts!
Thanks!

WOW! Thank you so much - it is the perfect little leaflet to keep in my "on the go" sock knitting bag.

Thank you!! :-) I'm thinking it will become my 'sock bible', I'm still learning and this is just the thing I need.
Love your Arwen cardigan from Interweave Knits. Love all your designs come to think of it. The way that they're basic, timeless but always have something extra withouth beeing 'screamy'. Keep up the good knitting! :-) greatings from the Netherlands!
