Henrietta Whinycat

Whine sick whine whine sick baby whine. Doctor whine other side of town whine whine whine. Whine busy whine whine tired whine. Whine deadline whine whine whine. Whine whine whine cold whine whine. Whine whine bored whine tired whine whine. Whine whine lonely whine winter whine whine. Whine guilty whine whine. Whine cook dinner whine whine pasta whine whine whine. 200 emails to answer whine. Whine knitting whine whine whine fun whine whine sleep whine.

I'm done. Thanks for letting me get that out of my system.

I keep this list of things to post about. I'm so far behind on my list that there one of the things written is "photos of trip" and I have absolutely no idea what trip I was talking about. Did I even go on a trip? And what photos could have possibly been knitting-relevant or at least of interest to people other than my immediate family? Anyway, I'm going to try to start posting again and check some of these things off the list, one that has been on there since September, for example.

Look! Yarn! Do you know Scout? She dyes yarn. And she dyed this colorway especially for me to my specifications. It's even called "needles on fire." Cool, no? I also ordered a bunch of stuff, or "swag" as she calls it, from her recently.

That's one thing checked off. Still to come: my clean office and incredibly organized life, my aunt's pants, spinning again and free yarn.

Beautiful yarn! I hope that everyone is well again!

I love that yarn and I love scouts swag!
I want the strawberry nesquick colorway.
She is awesome.
HOpe the baby is better.
Sometimes it helps to get the whining out of the way early on. Now go knit something with that fabuloso yarn and do it proud.

New yarn makes everything better. Maybe you just need MORE new yarn.

I hope sick baby is feeling better!

I have Scout's prototype for Needles on Fire...such yummy colors!

So here's my deep-dark secret: I always look at pictures first, then I skim for interesting words, and if I find some, I read the entry.

I looked at the ball of yarn, and I thought, "Gee, that matches Kate's blog colors. I wonder if she knows that."

Hope the tadpole feels better soon. It's okay to whine. I just skimmed it anyway.

Oh my, oh my, the close-up of that yarn has me drooling. Like I need more yarn.

Sorry you're cold and the babe is sick and you're lonely and the doctor's far away and it's winter. Perhaps some wine would help with the whine.

Hope the tadpole feels better soon.

That is a lovely colorway AND, I have that same exact tape measure. Although my cat seems to think it's his and tries to sneak off with it if I leave it unattended-he's attracted to the little ball on the end for some reason.

Hey - nice to see you back. I sincerely hope this is not the same cold Tadpole had before - you poor things. How are her eye boogers doing? Hope to talk to you soon!

So I'm not the only one who keeps a list of things to blog about...and sometimes gets dreadfully behind...

First of all, where does "Henrietta Whinycat" come from? (My Dad used to call me "Mona the Moosecaller" when I was whiny.)

Secondly, does it say something about me that I started reading it as "Wine deadline wine wine cook dinner wine wine?"

Your own colorway is pretty darn cool! And awesome swag.

Did you say FREE yarn, where did you find free yarn? ;) Hope all the whining ends soon, such a bad habit to teach Tadpole! lol!

On the commune, the doctor would be right next door and everyone would take turns making dinner. xo!!!

I LOVE the yarn! It is gorgeous. I have that bag, can't recall the name, for small projects i.e.socks and snaps onto your beltloop, purse, whatever? I love that too! I have been in lots of dr. offices and the hospital lots with my mom and it snaps onto chairs, bed rails, lots of things! It is the perfect size! Hope you love like I do.
