Easter is coming

Though you'd never know it with the snow all over the place. I hate April. I'm trying to hang on, knowing that May is coming and encourage spring to show up with spring-y projects.

A punk bunny for the store. I'll probably whip up a white one too for Tadpole's Easter basket since they're seriously fast to knit up.

and spring-colored sample socks for the 2 toe up socks on 1 circ at 1 time classs

If you can do one, you can do two and if you can do two, you can do four.

Wow. I am totally impressed (knitting four socks at once!). They are so cute too!!!

Those bunnies are just tooo cute!!

I prefer the DP's or 1 circ. needle to do socks. The 2 circs. seem to get in the way of each other for me. Guess that is why there are more than one way to knit socks hu? Not every one likes the same method. It would be a dull world.

Brillant!!!

I love your sample socks. It looks as if you've just returned from Mexico and are decorating with the colourful flag strings one sees everywhere there.

I here ya about April, only my dislike begins in Feb and lasts until spring is completely here.

There's something kind of terrifying about the way that bunny is hanging off the needles so helplessly, with his red and blackness looking so much like blood... looks like the ducks and rabbits hanging in the windows of butchers in Chinatown. Happy Easter indeed! But seriously, the line of socks on one needle is mighty impressive.

Is there anything cuter than baby footwear... hehe

I hear ya on the snow. Seriously, enough is enough!

I like the picture of the 4 socks on one circular. I think it would make a cute note card. Just an idea in case you need more projects to do you could go into rhe note card business.

Those socks are mighty cute. And awfully daunting, but that's just inspiration! And from the looks of it, Tadpole will have a very entertaining Easter basket. :)

Wow, what about 8 at a time? ha!

Posted by: Cheryl at April 6, 2007 01:54 PM

Great pics! The socks look like wash day!

WOW! 4 at one time!! they look great.

Posted by: eyeleen at April 5, 2007 09:49 PM

Wow. You make me want to buy the world's longest circular needle and cast on for, like, ten socks at once!

Posted by: elizabeth at April 5, 2007 08:31 PM

Love the bunny!!! I can't do one sock, have no idea how you do 4!!!

Those little socks deserve their own greeting card or something! Very nifty and inspiring. Scary but inspiring. :-)

And if you can knit 4, you can knit 8....Oooh, this could be seriously confusing or addicting, not sure which!

Just because you CAN knit 4 socks on 1 circ...doesn't mean you SHOULD!
(Especially after a few drinks- I'm picturing unintentional Fair Isle LOL)

Great photo!

Those socks are looking just TOO delicious -- can't wait for this class!! (Did you pick up other lengthy email sent this a.m.?)

Cheers, Barbie O.

That sock photo is insanely cute.
I knit your bunny a few years ago. I started and finished watching the Oscars. A very fun little knit. I keep meaning to make more.

Posted by: Jessica at April 5, 2007 01:35 PM

Socks for centipedes! Limitless knitting possibilities.

Posted by: Sonya at April 5, 2007 01:07 PM

Note to self: must make bunnies! If we don't write/talk before sunday, happy easter to you and yours. xoxo

Posted by: regina at April 5, 2007 11:01 AM

I have yet to learn the two circ thing, but the idea of doing two at the same time makes a lot of sense.

Posted by: Kathy at April 5, 2007 10:52 AM

HOLY CRAP!! Those socks are so cute all lined up!

I wish I had thought of the bunnies for easter thing before 3 days until Easter.... but even if they're fast, I have 10 nieces and nephews... that's just too many to knit bunnies for in 3 days.

Posted by: Miriam at April 5, 2007 10:42 AM

All those little socks look so cute, like they're on a clothesline.

Posted by: Mama Urchin at April 5, 2007 09:56 AM

Does your toe up pattern have short row heels? Just curious to see if I 'need' to take this class. ;)

Posted by: ~Jo~ at April 5, 2007 09:46 AM

I don't know - the sight of those four bright, innocuous little socks in a row like that...I find it quite menacing.

It has been decreed that I get over my sock problems...but definitely menacing.
