Now with less poop!
We're home and elated to be so. Paris was very much the same, and at the same time, different. I even went into our old apartment (a good friend lives there) and it was, again, the same and different. The main difference we noticed was that there seemed to be less dog poop. I mean in Paris, of course. There was never any dog poop in our apartment except for when we stepped in it and walked into the house. We came home the same and different too. It's strange going to someplace you lived and you liked living (mostly) and realizing that you no longer have any desire to live there. It's exactly the opposite of what happens to me every time I go to New York. Tadpole came home saying "coucou" and "oui oui oui oui" plus a few new words in English. The trip was so fast that we saw most people for only a couple of hours. I didn't make it to one single yarn store and the only thing I bought was a bag of Michokos (dark chocolate covered caramels). Even if I didn't have time for yarn shopping, having five other adults around did buy me a little knitting time. I worked on the sleeve of a sweater and I also worked on version B of this:

Marina Piccola socks (I'll explain the name later)
It's the sock I did for Scout's Swag Club and will soon (hopefully) be available on my site. Tadpole's up from her nap. More later. What have you all been up to?

Postcard

I'm sorry for the silence. It's been a crazy month with trips here and there and deadlines and just general busy-ness. I even spent 92 hours without internet access. It was strange and wonderful at the same time. This is really a whirlwind tour, so we'll be home in just a couple days. Traveling overseas makes me alternate between vegetable and insomniac, so if the insomniac part kicks in I'll post again soon. In the meantime, gros bisous (big kisses).
