Another look

I thought I'd post a couple photos of projects that have already been published just so you can see them in another light... usually a badly photographed late at night just to send to my mom to show her what I finished sort of light.

First up - The Wing Top

My sister is the lovely model. She is wearing a bra. It's one of those tube ones. Just thought you'd like to know. And the top's not falling off of her. It can stay up. Reallly.

Currently on newstands - Picot Posey Mittens... aka Hopscotch Mittens for those of you who read my post from the other day.

Ugly photo, no? But you can see the mitten. It's in the current issue of Knitscene. I think I'm going to make myself a pair... or if not for myself for someone who told me several times how much she liked them.

That is a cleverly constructed top. I have not seen it before. I love its simplicity. Nice job and nicely modeled.

Love the Hopscotch Mittens! I don't have a copy of Knitscene. Are they fulled in the magazine picture?

I really like the Wing Top. However, I wear a size L [C/D cup] and I'm wondering what your honest thoughts are about the attractiveness of someone my size wearing it? A few weeks ago I would have never believed the tube bra thing, but I found a strapless bra that actually works, so my skepticism for such things and the 21st century actually met one another, finally.

LOVE THE TOP!! VERY GOOD JOB, IT'S NOT STANDARD, THAT'S WHY I LOVE IT!

love the way you've done the thumb on your hopscotch mitten

Ah, to be 20 years younger! The top is fabulous; the model sister perfect (so natural). I'm curious to know what happens at the back.

Janet MF up in Yellowknife where it is slightly cooler than down where you are, but with lots of smoke drifting over from the Yukon.

Nice wing top! I always like getting real people reviews of stuff.

That top is fantastic! Mind if I link?

The wing top looks great on her. I like your name for the mittens better. Picot Posey just isn't my thing and they doen't look like a Posey. They need to quit changing your work.

The Wing Top looks great! That was the one out of Interweave Knits Summer 07 right? I would love to see a photo of it from the back. What yarn did you use?

Great mitten :)

Thanks!

Wow, that Wing top really looks great on her!

I agree that the wing top looks terrific on your sister. Why did IK put a strappy bra/tank underneath it and just tuck in the strap? Do they think we can't see that? Hmm? And oh my god I can't even think about mittens right now... (mops sweat off brow)

I have to admit, that wing top looks better on your sister than the model in IK. Hooray for your sister.

Oehh.. I like that top!!!

I think they look lots better in your pix than the magazine, frankly; it's too hard to see the mittens in Knitscene, and it is nice to see the Wing Top on someone with a more... attainable figure (though I would still give my eyeteeth to look like your sister!).

Where is the wing top published? It is beautiful!
