Can you tell me what bust sizes this pattern goes up to? Or what sizes are included in the pattern? Thank you. I love this pattern.

Kate, I love your patterns. I am wondering if you have the pattern for the Mommy Snug available on it's own too. I am expecting, and would really like to make it, though I don't have the issue of Interweave.... and can't get it.... being in Canada, they don't mail Interweave very quickly, so if I order the back issue from them I may have my baby before I could knit the sweater! Please let me know!!!! Thanks

What Arianne said!

But I did join the yahoo group for this sweater awhile back (haven't cast on yet - oops!) and there was discussion on adding more short rows for the sleeves.

What are the sizes for this pattern?

Posted by: Wendy at September 22, 2007 11:36 AM

Hi Kate, I just frogged my mommy snug because my row gauge way off and I didn't feel like doing all the math to make it right. I was thinking about casting on for Arwen but was wondering how much ease you would suggest. In your description of the pattern, you say to make a bigger size. Thanks. Love the patterns.

I agree with everything Arianne said. I have already purchase the magazine and started the pattern. I'm very concerned about the sleeve, seems most people have had a problem with this. Wouldn't this be consider an error in the pattern and the correct information available to those of us who own the pattern.

this is so pretty. was just looking at it the other day in the magazine.

This is beautiful! A really nice alternative to the original!

Do you offer support on "information for adjusting the size of the sleeves and the length of the body to best suit your taste and shape." for those of us who have a copy of the original pattern through IK?

(I love this sweater, I've got the yarn all ready. Soon as I finish up deadline knitting I get to reward myself with this, but I'd need a longer body...and I'm not well versed in sweaters, or even very smart...so I'm not sure how to alter the pattern to suit my tallness...)

Kate, this is gorgeous. I do have the issue that this appears in, but I love the new modeled shots!

Woohoo! Thank you! I always thought that was a nice sweater, but would make it longer.

Oh my... I googled for this cardigan just an hour ago, and now I see this. I bought it immediately!

Wow if I did not have the mag, I would certainly get this pattern. It is actually my next to knit project for Christmas. I have finished my other Christmas present sweater this week.

That sweater is SO on my list of things to do! If I didn't have the magazine with the pattern in it, I would most certainly buy it...especially to get your customization suggestions.

Yay! I love making this so far... planning to add some length to the body, but I'm just going to keep knitting for a few extra inches and hope for the best! Your reversible cable makes me unreasonably happy.

I made this over the winter and it's one of my favorite things I've ever knit. I do wish I would have known how to alter the sleeves, but otherwise, I love it!
