Lazy? Are you sure you're not just "pregnant"? Sorry - couldn't resist after the previous entry. I was laughing so hard, because I've had that happen to me, including my little niece who once said "I think you have a baby in your tummy!" Laughing, but screaming on the inside...

I love the colors and the socks; adore the fiery colors.
But my most "gasp"-y moment came when I saw the last photo . . . is that Tadpole? Ummmm . . . wasn't she just a baby? Like yesterday? I started reading your blog as a new knitter, about the time you were pregnant with Tadpole. And now she's a little girl.

great pics! i have a question unrelated to the lovely L shots however. i have been knitting (at an intermediate level) for quite some time (probably 20+ yrs) and i just can't imagine designing a project! so i'm wondering how one goes from hobby knitter to creative designer. is there a course you take or just a moment of divine inspiration or both or something else entirely? :)
