LOVE the red ones. No pressure, but if you don't post the pattern soon, I may have to break into your house and steal them ;) Seriously, they are awesome and as soon as the pattern is posted, I will drop whatever I'm doing and start them!

I must knit them both! What the gauge for the Wintergreens? Looks smaller than worsted...

Those are beautiful. I think I need to think about knitting some mittens!

At the risk of sounding ...ill-informed...I have to ask: what dimension of the hand are you giving? I thought I had a pretty normal-sized hand, and none of my dimensions are as large as 8". Is it circumference at widest part, or length from base of hand to tip of longest finger? Or is it length of the finished mitten?
This is a beautiful pattern, as is all your work. Thank you.

They are so lovely, especially the new ones! You are my knit design hero.

Oh.... I wonder if they'll be ready before i leave for my trip on Saturday? A perfect mitten project to knit while at my boring conference??? :) Oh....

I love the cuff on the second one! How lovely!
And the leaf ones are growing on me... uh... no pun intended.

I'm all over that red mitten pattern. As soon as it's posted, baby that's gonna be mine.

They're beautiful!

Very pretty, both of them.

The second pair may be the prettiest mittens I've ever seen. You rock my knit world!!

I have been searching for days for just the right mitten for my sister for Christmas. Your delicious red/white mitten is IT. Please post the pattern soon!

They are great! Just the right-size project.

What beautiful mittens! I just ordered the pattern. Now let's see if I can actually pull it off! I'm not that skilled at colorwork (though now i have incentive to get better at it).

Uh oh. I'm gonna need to place an order ...
:-)

Oh my god, the cuff of the red and white one is FREAKING ADORABLE. I don't think I'm quite ready for two color knitting, though. Plus, I'm so behind on knitting projects that it will be summer before I have time to do them!! But, that does mean they'll be ready for next year, hm..... :)

Ooooh, I agree! Love the red and white ones! What gauge should we be matching? I can think of two or three people who I would love to knit those for!

Oh my....I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the red and white mittens. My poor old red mittens are starting to wear out...I'm thinking these may just be the replacement!

Love both pairs of mittens! The red and white ones are so striking. I'm on such a mitten kick, I can't wait 'til the pattern is released.

Both are so pretty. I'm knitting my first mittens now. I may be making those red ones soon if all goes well with these.

Oh so lovely! What are the yarn requirements?
Posted by: Anne at November 26, 2007 08:37 PM
Ooh, wintergreen is a beautiful pattern but I *must* have those unnamed mittens shown below. Pardon me while I go stir the stash ...
Posted by: Danielle at November 26, 2007 07:38 PM
Okay, so it didn't take very long for their beauty to overwhelm me. Just got it from your shop! :)
Posted by: connie at November 26, 2007 07:05 PM
Wow, Kate. These are both *beautiful*. You're really self publishing with a bang, aren't you? :)
I don't wear mittens, but if I get overwhelmed with their beauty, I might just have to make some as gifts... We'll see.
In the meantime, congrats! :)
