The first time I saw it I had to have the pattern. I made it in a yarn that was just not right for the drape and fit. I am going to try again with a tweed. It was magic to see it come together and I marveled at how your mind works. Can't wait to knit it again.

I've already ordered the yarn for this (it arrived a couple of weeks ago) and I'm just waiting until I finish another sweater before I cast on for the Sunrise Cirle. I also ordered yarn for Clapotis. I think I may be the only one in the universe who has not knit it yet!

My plan was to abstain. Because of everything that has been going on with pattern contracts, I have boycotted Knitting Daily. I will download absolutely nothing there - free or for sale. I'm alright with having an IK subscription since I believe the designers were aware of what their in-print compensation would be before the fact, but I don't like what the publishers are trying to do with downloads, e-books, etc. I realize that in this case you have already forfeited any future profits from downloads of Sunrise Circle because IK has long been offering the pattern for free. If you truly see it as no loss to you, and perhaps a gain for another indie designer who has not already lost internet sales on a pattern that is up for vote, I'll do it. Just let me know.

I did--yesterday.
I made Sunrise last year and I wear it all the time...and that is saying a lot. Not all of my handknits are as flattering as I wanted them to be. I made your Slanted V Neck Pullover too and I get loads of compliments....I guess you could say I am a fan (or that I am gushing....)
Sunrise was so wild to knit and the product is so cool. Its the best of both worlds. Hope u win!
