Miracle of miracles. I am posting for the first time in... what... a bajillion years? So welcome back to those of you who find me again. And it's Wednesday so let's go random.
1. This is what www.twistcollective.com looked like at about 4 am on August 1.
And this is what it looked like a few minutes later.
This is why I haven't been around, obviously.
2. I have some knitting and spinning I wanted to show you but I can't find my camera cable so I guess it will just have to wait until I post again in another 3 months. (joking. i hope)
3. And remember the sweater that I said I was really proud of? It's here.
4. We actually got a much needed "cation on cay cod" in August. I had some fun with my camera and here's one of my favorite shots.
5. Found on igoogle today. (sad story. silly typo)

Love, love Wisteria. Bought it right away ... want to knit it in some cashmere I have in my stash. Yum!
Tadpole is adorable! Don't blink ~ she'll be, like, 9 if you do (I know, from personal experience, that blinking is bad in the case of children and their growth ;-D ).

She's beautiful. Very canny-looking.
Twist - love it. I bought two patterns straight away - Wisteria and Jaali. The perfect yarn for Wisteria eludes me, though...I bought some Lavold Classic Al for it, online, and the colour just isn't right at all. I was downcast but not completely crushed - Wisteria and I are meant to be together.
So thanks for introducing me to my destiny sweater. And thanks for posting - haven't seen you in a long while!

It's about time they found someone to address foot safety. We can't keep our feet too safe. Perhaps the new foot safety officer could appoint a special handknit sock division to help ward off frostbite.
