Knit at 18 sts and 29 rows over 4 in/10 cm on US #7/4.5mm straight needles

Uses: 135yd/125m DK weight Angora, Mohair or other fuzzy yarn for the ruffle and 125yd/115m DK weight Cashmere, Wool, or Blend
The two yarns I chose were very close in color. For a different effect, try using two slightly different colors or two completely different colors.

This elegant scarf is an Elizabethan collar, with a modern twist. Knit from the top down, its soft angora ruffles frame your face. A strand of cashmere is then worked along with the angora to add warmth and a smooth hand to the fabric. The ribbing hugs the curves of your neck, and the picot-edged flare at the bottom neatly tucks into your coat to keep out the cold.
